For all those including the gospel musicians who think the reigning VGMAs gospel artiste of the year DSP Kofi Sarpong will stop singing the ‘susuka‘ song by Kofi Kinaata have all gotten it wrong.

Frank Kwabena Owusu known as Franky5 in showbiz in an interview with Kofi Sarpong who is currently a supretendent in the police service on the TIG Show on Hitz fm made it clear that there is no way he will ever stop performing the ‘susuka’ song on any platform at all he finds himself. He believes the song carries a strong message which should be listened to by everybody including the gospel musicians.

According to him, he has been performing the song all over the place. He performed this same song in one of the branches of The Church of Pentecost in Accra and it was massively embraced by the congregation as they danced to it regardless of where they were which was the church.

Just as people think he is into fashion about how he appears in his outfits, he refuted that and said he rather feels relaxed and comfortable in them and they positively influence his performance all the time.

DSP Kofi Sarpong also made it clear on the show that he is still using the DSP in the music industry and SP in the Police Service.

Meanwhile, the reigning VGMAs Gospel Artiste of the year, DSP Kofi Sarpong has been nominated at the annual African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) in the Gospel Artiste of the Year category scheduled for Nigeria in October this year.
