Mel Kwesi Davis Is a Liar. – Nacee

Multi talented and gospel musician Nacee has vehemently called the Chief Executive Officer of Event Republic and one of the members who worked on the 2016 NDC campaign song ‘onaapo’ Mel Kwesi Davis a liar for making false allegations about him and calling him greedy on Happy FM, an Accra based radio station.

Musician Nacee said this on the TIG Show, a gospel entertainment and celebrity talk show on Hitz FM. Nacee who was in a shock expressed his displeasure upon hearing that a friend could say such things about him.

According to the musician , the team that worked on the ‘onaapo’ song project had GHC 59,000 out of GHC 120, 000 of which Mel Kwesi Davis was part of the beneficiaries.

He stated further that he is ready to account for every pesewa of the sum of GHC 61,000 which was given to him to work with and that Mel, Ashes, Bulldog and Frank Agyekum should also do same with the sum of GHC 59, 000 they also received. He believes if Mel wants to really protect his image and integrity as he claims he wants to, then he should speak the truth instead of telling lies all over the place about him (Nacee).

He revealed that this same project brought about some misunderstanding and series of fights amongst the team. Nacee blamed the ‘onaapo’ team and the host of the TIG Show Franky5 for betraying him as far as the ‘onaapo’ deal is concerned since they all have something to do with it.

Meanwhile, Nacee is also accusing Mel of using a phone and internet package he bought for him for the brand Nacee social media publicity which he never did. Rather, he is using it for his personal stuffs.

  1. Very nice story.
But I think Nacee should calm down and settle this issue with Mel and all the people involved before it escalates to a different level which would be bad for his brand.

  2. I think there is no need for Naccee and Mel to fight or argue over this issue. We should always know that we are all one people and one Ghana.
My little advise is that these two brothers should not allow money separate all the good things they have shared.
